We underwent multiple design phases during the development of our final design. These included developing initial concept designs, simulating them in CFD and FEA, then narrowing down the field before selecting the best aerodynamic vane profiles.
Once this was done the team could produce final CAD models for our design. Alongside this we also have a collection of CAD models for the Holset HY40-V, which was the benchmark turbocharger model for our project, as well as models of objects manufactured specifically for testing.
